Near Forio Ischia, perched atop the cliffs in the midst of a thick pine grove of seven hectares, in one of the most enchanting and still unspoiled corners of Mediterranean maquis, a few minutes walking from the beautiful villa that belonged to Luchino Visconti, the famous movie director: there is Mezzatorre Resort and Spa. This unique position is the magic that makes your holiday an unforgettable experience.
The Hotel has 59 elegant guest rooms, of which twenty-two are in the tower.
The seawater, heated swimming pool overlooks one of the private bays where you can relax in absolute peace and quiet even in the most crowded seasons. Next to the swimming pool there is a bar that turns into a restaurant at lunchtime when light à-la-carte meals are served.
Two restaurants are available. A buffet breakfast and a sit-down dinner are served in the main restaurant, whereas the poolside restaurant has only an à la carte menu. For dinner you can order from a menu that is true to the finest tradition of Mediterranean and international cuisine and you can make your choice of hors d’oeuvres, vegetable and sweets from the buffet.
In the evening the warm atmosphere of our piano bar is the perfect retreat after a day spent sunbathing and swimming in the clear water of the bays, relaxing in the Health & Beauty Center or walking on a tiring but unforgettable sightseeing tour.
