The Turner Hotel is a four-star hotel, in the center of Rome, situated at a few steps from the historic Porta Pia commissionned by Pope Pio the IVth Medici and built on Michelangelo's drawings (1560), at the back of the antique wall that Marco Aurelio had erected in 270-275 A.D. as a protection for the city of Rome. The hotel also faces the Departments of Public Works and Transports and stands near many Ambassies and Consulates.
The hotel stands in a prestigious building that dates back to the late XIXth century; thanks to regular renovations it offers its hosts any comfort.
The 47 rooms are classified as follows: Standard, Superior, Junior Suite and Suite deluxe, all covered with precious tapestry and fit out with furniture in Bois de rose and Boulle.
Precious marble stairs leading from the hall, with antique furniture, to the breakfast room and to the bar, have sumptuous damask silk tapestry and golden stucco vaults.
Each morning you will be served a good international breakfast.
On request (to be paid) is possible to arrange the transfer to/from the airport.
